We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Level 2 Engineer-Plumber with the Engineering Department. The Level 2 Engineer will support all scheduled arena events through the maintenance of arena equipment and life safety systems. Will evaluate and tackle problems, perform repairs & preventive maintenance, and initiate viable long-term corrective measures. We are looking for an experienced plumber to install, maintain and repair sanitation units, water and gas supply lines, heating systems, and associated fixtures and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial structures. You will also be required to design and inspect plumbing systems, perform diagnostics, and ensure they follow regulatory codes. This role will also understand General Maintenance activities and repairs, and they will work towards developing proficiency in multiple trades’ abilities, including but not limited to Painting, Carpentry, Welding, HVAC, Refrigeration, and High & Low Voltage Electrical.

What Will You Do:

  • Evaluate, prioritize, and complete assigned work orders.
  • Shall collaborate with peers and departmental leadership in the execution of scheduled work projects and building preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Fitting and repairing various household appliances.
  • Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
  • Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
  • Handling customer queries and responding to call outs.
  • Preparing cost estimates.
  • Supply to the determination and requisition of materials, parts, and components required for work order or project completion.
  • Accurately and consistently details maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

What We Need From Our Level 2 Engineer-Plumber:

  • Good proven understanding of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.
  • Strong critical thinking and solving skills.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and persistence.
  • Physical dexterity.
  • A basic knowledge of most Building systems: Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Protection, Building/Energy Management Systems and safe working techniques and procedures.
  • Good communication, organization, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Confirmed ability to complete maintenance work tasks as assigned.
  • Basic proficiency in use of computer.
  • Demonstrate sound organizational, coordinating, and personal interface skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience/ Education Requirements:

  • Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship.
  • 2+ years as a plumber.
  • Previous experience in large, multiuse facility preferred.
  • Valid plumbing license.
