Liability Risk Consultant - Home based role, covering the Midlands (UK)
Aviva have an opportunity for a Liability Risk Consultant to join our Aviva Risk Management Solutions division (ARMS), who will provide market leading risk management services to our clients. This is fantastic opportunity to join a thriving and established team, with the opportunity to influence and grow with the business, with the backing of Aviva's resources and reputation. It would be the perfect role for a NEBOSH diploma qualified (or equivalent) professional, who can showcase a customer-centric, risk management / assessment career history within the Insurance sector.
This role is home-based, with a focus in regular travel across the Midlands and down to North London, therefore you will be ideally located in the West or East Midlands area (occasional national travel is expected also).

ARMS always aim to deliver a customised approach for our clients, helping customers protect their business and preventing the worst from happening. Always innovating, providing the latest best practice loss prevention advice, services and solutions to both our internal and external customers
ARMS are looking to expand their experienced liability team, with the successful candidate acting as a dedicated focal point that will support the SME / Mid-Market Liability accounts, delivering risk engineering through completing survey programmes, and by offering technical advice, information and support. This will be undertaken via both face to face and virtual meetings with our clients and will also involve a high level of diary management tasks.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Detailed knowledge of current risk management, risk assessment, and loss prevention practices for liability risks, matched with excellent coordination skills (i.e., you need to have worked in the Insurance sector currently / previously)
- Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards, with experience across a wide range of trades
- Ability to analyse, collate and interpret underwriting information to ensure pro-active risk management decisions are made i.e., have a sound working knowledge of insurance processes
- Highly developed presentation and customer engagement skills, with excellent influencing and negotiating skills
- NEBOSH Diploma (Health & Safety qualification) or equivalent and/or relevant industry specific qualifications (ACII)
