The City of Redwood City invites applications for Library Services Supervisor.

THE POSITION

The City of Redwood City is looking for a dynamic, energetic, team oriented full-time (40-hours per week) Library Services Supervisor to manage, direct and coordinate the technical services unit of the Customer Experience Division. This individual will also work closely with the Library Division Manager to create the annual budget for library materials ($500K+), assist with collection development, assist with managing the Library Makerspace, create the weekly public services schedule, assist with marketing projects and other duties as assigned. The mission of the Redwood City Public Library is to cultivate community and advance equity by welcoming all people to experience the shared joys of literacy and learning. This position plays a key role in advancing that mission by fostering a sense of inclusion and belonging for our community. The Library Services Supervisor will work primarily at the Downtown Library and may travel to other branches. The incumbent must be able to work during the day, evenings and weekends. The schedule will be from Monday through Friday or from Sunday through Thursday.
