Job Summary
The Library Academic Services Specialist will provide appropriate resources to support academic programs at Sheridan College including coordinating the College’s Tutoring, Writing, and Testing centers. The Academic Library Specialist will assist the SC Library Director with general library services including but not limited to, the routine operation of library equipment, such as basic troubleshooting of computers, printers, scanners, copy machine, and other equipment.
A successful candidate will be an innovative thinker with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills They will be an agent of change, helping to sustain library programs that are relevant to undergraduate education while cultivating high-impact resources in emergent fields relevant to an evolving academic community.

Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Schedule could include a combination of days, nights and occasional weekend hours
- Ability to reach overhead and lift up to 50 pounds
