Job Title: Licensed Administrative Assistant
Report to: Financial Advisor
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Licensed Administrative Assistant that possesses the right mix of compassion, authenticity, accountability, and dedication to connect with clients and serve both them and the advisor well. The candidate is extremely detail orientated and isn’t afraid of taking initiative. Knowing that the advisor has many “irons in the fire” and isn’t always available, you are confident to run with a project or task list and exhaust all resources before coming to the advisor for the answer. You don’t need someone to tell you step-by-step how to solve a problem. They strive for continuous improvement in processes and procedures and rarely let things slip through the cracks. You can contribute to the efficient and organized office of Retirement Consultant Services, allowing the advisor to focus on building client relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer and problem-solve incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail and in-person requests professionally and courteously
- Communicate effectively with public and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Express ideas clearly both in written and oral communications.
- Self-motivate and can work independently.
- Organize and manage multiple priorities (time management).
- Consider client objectives in resolving client tasks.
- Read and interpret documents such as rules, instructions, and manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Mathematical Ability: Will need to compute and interpret rates of return, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Computer Skills: E-mail, Internet software, spreadsheets and their macros, graphics, word-processing and company proprietary software used by the company. Typing skills in the 40-50 wpm range.
- Complete client paperwork with clients, both in person and via Docusign, and maintain communication with the client about the status of accounts.
- Provide market quotations, place orders, and rebalance accounts at the direction of the financial advisor
- Maintain client and other appropriate information in company software including but not limited to accurate and timely processing of updates and report requests.
- Type and design general written and electronic correspondence
- Utilize financial platforms including Wealthport, Fidelity Institutional, MoneyEdge, Redtail, Riskalyze, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be available at the direction of the Financial Advisor for other duties and responsibilities including various projects
Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses:
Series 7 and Series 66 license preferred.
Securities offered through Registered Representatives of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. a broker-dealer, member FINRA/SIPC. Advisory Services offered through Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc a Registered Investment Advisor. Cambridge and Retirement Consultant Services are not affiliated.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
