Clinical Psychologist

Position:

We are in search of a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team of diagnosticians. The psychologist must have experience in diagnosing children as you as 18 months.

  • In person services at Kadiant centers or in personal office space - Fresno, CA
  • In person services
  • 2-6 diagnosis per week (3-4 hours per client)- Flexible schedule
  • Part time- paid per assessment ($800-$1500)

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and diagnosing clients for psychological, developmental, or behavioral disorders through in person and virtual evaluations
  • Administering and interpreting psychometric tests in conducting diagnosis such as the ADOS, DP-4, SRS-2, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, BASC-3, and MACI-II
  • Collaborating with diagnostic team and other professionals to obtain relevant clinical information across settings
  • Working with families and communicating diagnosis and recommendations
  • Evaluating client through conversations, interviews, and observations to determine correct testing or examination
  • Educating client families on the characteristics and symptoms associated with various diagnoses
  • Referring patients to general resources like psychiatrists, treatment facilities, or community services
  • Assessing client needs, and developing strategies to help the clients
  • Maintaining good working relationships with interdisciplinary diagnostic team to ensure highest quality care for clients and their families
  • Writing and submitting thorough diagnostic reports within designated timelines
  • Completing all administrative tasks associated with diagnostic evaluations in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Applied Developmental Psychology, Clinical Psychology or related fields
  • Licensed in state of California
  • Hold a license to perform in-state, licensed developmental psychologist
  • Must have a strong background in diagnosing children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, and community resources
  • Compassionate and caring toward clients and families
  • Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize
  • Great collaborator with the diagnostics team
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple patients
  • Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, schedules, dates, and information
  • Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
  • Self-directed and self-motivated
