We are currently seeking Mental Health Professionals to join our team at Upriver and Liberty Place! These are both enhanced services facilities, caring for adults with chronic and persistent mental health conditions. This is a 24/7 residential facility staffed with nursing, mental health professionals, and caregivers. Our focus is to provide a safe, caring, compassionate home for our residents while assisting them with achieving their individual goals. We provide assistance with medication administration, facilitation with providers and appointments, recreational/art activities, group and individual outings.
MHP duties at Upriver and Liberty Place include:
- The MHP meets with each resident daily (8-16 residents) and assists with implementation of the individualized behavior support plan.
- The MHP does charting on each resident daily (mitigations, responses, changes, outcomes, challenges)
- The MHP coordinates with community providers and supports.
- The MHP participates in the development of activities to assist the resident in social skills development both in the facility and in the community.
Qualifications:
- Must pass background check and fingerprinting per WA State DSHS requirements
- Active, non-restricted license in state of WA
- Master’s degree relative to position (licensed mental health counselor, licensed mental health counselor-associate, licensed independent clinical social worker, licensed independent clinical social worker-associate, licensed advanced social worker, licensed advanced social worker-associate; MSW w/ 2 years of relevant experience gained under the supervision of a mental health professional; psychiatric nurse; psychologist; (others may qualify under 71.05 RCW)
- Must maintain good standing in credentialing
- Attend training in mental health, dementia, and developmentally disabled populations, and therapeutic options prior to first scheduled shift (provided by Liberty Place if not already completed)
- Active Driver’s License

- Pay $33-$40/hour DOE
Job Requirements:
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care to residents. Be an active and productive member of the team.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Develop and maintain positive therapeutic rapport with residents
- Contribute to person-centered care plans and participate in monthly treatment team meetings
- 8 and/or 10 hour shifts, weekend and holiday availability
