Only Love is looking for a PTA to join our team!

This is a PRN position. PTA will cover HIDALGO & CAMERON COUNTY with 5-10 visits to start.

Some of the requirements include:

Providing coordinated physical therapy to patients/clients of geriatric groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Participates in the coordination of care.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy.

Licensure: Current State License or a multi-state license issued by a state member of the Physical Therapist Licensure
Compact (PTLC)

Experience: One year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferred.

Skills: Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR.

Transportation: Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and current and valid auto liability insurance.

Works in a health care facility or patients’/clients’ homes in various conditions; possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids and infectious diseases; ability to work a flexible schedule; ability to travel locally.

Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing and standing. Prolonged standing and walking required. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient/client needs and to meet patient/client and family individualized psycho social needs. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
