Licensed Vocational Nurse - Home Health (Per Diem)
Job description
New Haven Home Health Services, Inc. is a Medicare certified agency providing skilled home health services to patients at home. We have an immediate opening for a per diem Licensed Vocational Nurse with a minimum of one year experience in medical/surgical setting or SNF.
Requirements for Licensed Vocational Nurse:
- Proficient in blood draw and wound care and preferably in a home health care setting
- Graduated from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program
- Must have a current California Vocational Nursing license
- Willing to visit patients in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties
Preferred Skills for Licensed Vocational Nurse:
- LVN must have excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all staff, patients, families and members of the health team
- Effective problem-solving and good analytical skills
- Working knowledge of computer programs: Word and data entry
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
