Jefferson Memory Care is a Community Based Residential Care Facility that provides specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's and/or Dementia. We are seeking a capable and dedicated individual, to fill our Life Enrichment Assistant/LEA (activity aide) position. Desired qualities would be someone who values human connection, recreation, creativity, and joy.

Responsibilities:

o Life Enrichment Assistant assists in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and leading activity programs in the evenings and weekends or as requested by LE Coordinator.

o Development of programs individually and specifically designed for Memory Care.

o Assist with creating and distributes weekly activity calendar.

o Activity documentation and resident care charting daily and as necessary.

o Decorating of the facility for Holidays and special events.

o Assists in creating flyers, marketing, and community relations.

o Coordinates large events (i.e. Ice Cream Social, Bazaar, etc.).

o Coordinates programming with other departments.

o Performs one- on –one interaction to enhance the quality of life: including sensory visits.

o Ensures facility rules and regulations are being followed.

o Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, assisting residents with eating.

Background check is required.

Vaccinations are encouraged but not required for employment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
