Astera Health is looking for a
Limited Radiology Operator/Phlebotomist to join our team. Our Lab team is a diverse group of individuals that promotes accountability, flexibility and the utmost care for our patients. Tri-County believes in fostering a positive workplace culture and finding joy in the work we do every day.
This opening is 64 hours per pay period: day and afternoon shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Responsibilities required, but not limited to:
- Order entry
- Specimen collection and processing
- Therapeutic phlebotomies and waived testing
- Documentation of lab tests
- Patient teaching
- Limited x-ray procedures
Competencies Required include:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates high degree of commitment to customer service excellence
- Strong computer skills, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
- Annual technical competencies as required by CAP and Joint Commission
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Phlebotomy experience required
- State of MN X-ray equipment operator certification
- Or; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.
Immunization requirements include: MMR, Hepatitis B (based on the position), Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, COVID-19.
