Hot Job Details:

$1000 Hot Job sign on bonus paid out in two installments. The release of the bonus will occur as listed below:

• 1st installment of the bonus ($500) will be paid after the successful completion of 60 days of employment in the Hot Job position you were hired for at Snoqualmie Casino.
• 2nd installment of the bonus ($500) will be paid after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment in the Hot Job position you were hired for at Snoqualmie Casino.

• Only applicable on applications submitted after 03/30/2023. Internal candidates are excluded from the bonus. Bonus amounts for part time and casual team members will be pro-rated based on average hours worked compared to full time hours during the installment period. Should a team member transfer out of the position for which they were hired within the installment period, the team member will not receive the bonus payment. Rehired candidates are eligible to receive the Hot Job Bonus if they have been separated from the casino for greater than six (6) months from their rehire date.

PURPOSE

To provide high quality foods in a safe and clean environment. To efficiently complete the daily tasks of food preparation, production, outlet set-up and teardown. To ensure quantities of outlet foods are adequate for current business levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the quality, quantity, consistency, and timeliness of all food production in the Kitchen.
• Ensure the presentation, portioning, food compatibility, garnishes, substitution procedures are followed consistently.
• Collaborate with Sous Chef to ensure proper training of Prep and Line Cooks.
• Follow and adhere to all proper food handling procedures for food storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation and prevention of cross-contamination.
• Responsible for following recipes, times, and temperatures in order to produce high quality and consistent products.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proven working knowledge of Kitchen Design and the operation of grills, roast-and-hold ovens, conventional and convection ovens, fryers, etc.

PREFERRED

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• One (1) year quantity, Buffet or Quick Service Cooking experience or comparable/current Cross-Over experience in the venue.
• Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series completion.

Snoqualmie Casino exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
