About Us
Meat Time, a newly open Japanese Wagyu featured restaurant, is seeking for a candidate who is passionate with food and ready for new challenges for the opening in late spring this year. The founders have a lot of experience in meat distribution and food business as CEO of Shinshu Secure Foods in Japan and will back up us as our wagyu distributor as well. Our mission is spreading the brilliance of Shinshu Wagyu from Nagano, Japan to the US. This is an important milestone for us but yet we are aspiring to go further as business grows. We are waiting to see ambitious people who want to join us to take the first step together!
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent work ethic and punctuality as professional
- Must have great communication skills
- Professional and positive attitude and mindful to other employees
- Critical thinking skills and concentration to execute multi-tasking
- Demonstrates proper cooking, cutting techniques and knows culinary units of measure
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
- Thrive in fast paced environments
- Ability to lift 25lb and walk, kneel bend and stand frequently to perform duties
- Open-minded and flexible on unfamiliar circumstances
Primary Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
- Efficiently prepares the food to meet customers’ expectations in fast paced environments
- Ensures the proper food quality, presentation and portion
- Maintains the highest standard for the sanitation before, during and after food service. Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety and production requirements.
- Interacts with co-workers to cultivate positive work environment to achieve high standard service as the whole team
- Performs other duties as assigned
