Live in PA / Graduate / Carer / Support Worker to Sociology with Social Sciences student – Southampton Solent // Chichester

About our Client

Our client is in her first year at Southampton Solent University doing a Social Sciences Foundation Year before starting her first year of Sociology.

She has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and is a full-time wheelchair user.

She has a great sense of humour and doesn’t take life too seriously.

Our client enjoys watching TV and Netflix

She leads an active social life, meeting up with friends and family to go shopping, eating out or the cinema.

With a kind and delightful persona, she is keen to embrace the full University life.

About the Job

You will provide our client's academic support and health and social care.

This is also a “flat mate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect a first-year university student to be doing, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, attending events and much more!

Start Date: January 2023

Working: Live-in 7 days on / 7 days off

Pay: £150 Per day

Location: Southampton Solent University // Chichester

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

You must hold a full clean UK driving licence for this role, as you will be driving our client's adapted car.

5.6 week's holiday pro rata.

About You

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided.

You will need: -

-To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring

-Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative

-To have a good sense of humour

-A mature and responsible attitude

-Good communication skills

-To be fluent in English.

-To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.

-To be fully vaccinated

-To be a non-smoker

-Full UK driving licence
