Overview

As a Logistics & Inventory Specialist based in Louisville, you will work in a blended role primarily providing cross-functional support to the Logistics and Supply Chain teams. Your main responsibilities will be coordinating the preparation and shipment of equipment and supplies. Your secondary focus will be supporting all the activities related to receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing inventory within the facility. Other duties
- Organize finished goods to facilitate and maintain efficient Shipping flow
- Communicate order details and shipping information to Sales and Operations teams
- Prepare shipments with a focus on quality and consistency
- Coordinate and schedule parcel/freight shipments domestically & internationally
- Provide logistical support for outbound shipments & returns
- Document shipments to ensure accurate record keeping
- Communicate with carriers regarding quotes, pricing, and their efficacy
- Conduct inventory audits for accuracy
- Organize and analyze relevant logistics and inventory data

This is a blended role between a logistics technician (scheduling / packing, and warehouse picking), and inventory support (receiving/parts movement tracking)

Desired Skills and Experience

- Relevant degree or minimum of 2 years work experience in a logistics role
- Receiving and warehouse experience
- Inventory documentation experience
- Working knowledge of Google/Microsoft Suite and experience working in an MRP system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
