The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to prioritize and organize tasks. Also, a successful candidate would be able to work with little direct supervision and be comfortable working as part of a close-knit team. We're looking for someone who is exceptionally detail-oriented, is organized and methodical, and is able to follow through on tasks with indefinite instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting in the timely pickup and delivery of all customer orders within assigned area while maintaining customer expectations.

• Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues. Inform and escalate service issues to management as appropriate. Maintain timely and professional communication with customer contacts on issues impacting service and overall performance.

• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.

• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.

• Cash handling, taking payments and entering credit cards

• Monthly invoicing duties, writing, filing, mailing

• Light cleaning duties

• Provides clerical support for inbound and outbound logistical operations

• Responsible for assisting with repairs and damages that may occur with products transported via delivery

• Will need to have strong communication skills, answering phones, walk in customer service etc

• Working knowledge of computers

• General knowledge of U.P geography a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

• Escanaba, MI 49829: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
