Coordinate and conduct training across the state for current CAC members and those newly appointed and designated. The individual will assist the SLTCO and state-level ombudsmen in the development, planning, and delivery of materials to all representatives of the Office. They will also be responsible for the evaluation of training materials and methodologies and making recommendations for improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

• Working knowledge of Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program
• Experience in designing and presenting training materials to a variety of audiences
• Proven track record in public speaking, presenting and facilitation skills
• Knowledge and experience in working with multiple virtual training platforms such as WebEx and Got to Meeting
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft applications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of related experience; or Bachelor s degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
