Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Customer Service Specialist to support our transportation team. The Sales Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for analyzing pricing data, collaborating with the pricing manager and sales team, and handling customer quote requests for our LTL and 3PL services. You will be responsible for the delivery of revenue and performance reports for the company’s business within all service lines, with a focus on LTL Transportation. Prospect clients at the highest of volumes using all possible sales channels. The positions report to the CCO and responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end LTL logistics communication. Ensure flawless execution by working closely with our Terminal Managers and Sales team to build, grow a book of business, and identify client needs through understanding the product environment. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding sales experience, customer service skill, and self-motivated skills.

Requirements
- High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in consulting, continuous improvement, data analytics or similar.
- 2+ years of experience on sales, pricing, customer service with LTL Logistics transportation and 3PL services knowledge.
- Experience with pricing tools, software, and data analytics.
- Strong analytical and data modeling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills/Responsibilities
- Analyze pricing data and market trends to identify opportunities for pricing optimization and improvement.
- Find solutions to customer requests for information, concerns and product in general.
- Process all necessary paperwork for the daily operation of the sales center and follow through to resolution.
- May need to assist with inventory controls including but not limited to cycle counts, daily review inventory.
- Develop and maintain effective communication for LTL and 3PL transportation services.
- Collaborate with the pricing manager and sales team to ensure that pricing strategies are aligned with the company's overall objectives and goals.
- Handle customer quote requests and ensure that they are based on previously defined prices, as well as communicate with the sales team to provide quotes that are competitive and profitable.
- Monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Analyze customer data and conduct surveys to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Generate pricing reports and other analyses as needed.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into projects
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau preferred)
- Experience with SQL
