The ideal candidate will be someone with experience supporting a Rheumatology department and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. In this role you will be supporting the Provider directly and assisting with rooming patients, taking vitals, administering steroid injections and verifying immunizations. There is also an opportunity to float and assist in other specialties within Rancho Bernardo location.
Performs patient assessments and care tasks, including:
- Assisting with emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
- Educating patients and documents patient interactions.
- Practicing infection control.
- Contributing to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
This position is Full-Time - 8 hour shifts, working Monday, Wednesday – Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
Qualifications - External
Required Qualifications:
- BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Completion of accredited LVN program
- Current LVN CA license
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience working in an outpatient setting preferred, but not required
- Experience in Rheumatology
