This role is located in Detroit, MI with local travel to the Plymouth, Belleville, Clinton Township and New Boston (Romulus) areas!
Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections on stamping presses and associated equipment
- Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
- Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems
- Major and minor repairs to stamping presses and associated equipment
- Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area
- Repairs made in the field at customer location
- Operates forklifts, articulating booms, scissor lifts and mobile cranes, overhead cranes
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Responsible for reading and understanding the TS16949 and ISO-14001 procedures
- Able and willing to work any shift assigned
- Able to interprets mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings
Up to $35 per hour based on experience
