Your responsibilities and tasks:
The Plant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all maintenance and project work at the Romeoville Hygiene facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises or directly maintain, repair, and install equipment in our production and warehouse facilities.
- Design, quote and execute facility improvement projects. Develop long-term facility layout and equipment plan for maximum efficiency and capacity.
- Maintain the Equipment Information and Maintenance Log.
- Inform the Senior Manager of any unsafe or hazardous conditions that may exist and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain a work area for tools and repair equipment in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Travel (5%) to other GEA facilities as needed to support hygiene and microsite facilities.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Any other functions as required by and or directed by management.

- The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time.

- The employee may occasionally be required to handle up to 50 pounds.
- The employee may occasionally be required to use boom and scissor-lifts to heights of up to 30 feet.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works with regulated hazardous chemical products and is occasionally exposed to dust, odors, and fumes.
- The employee may be occasionally required to work in hot and humid and / or cold conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is frequently moderate to loud.

Your profile and qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience at performing/supervising scheduled preventative maintenance and analytical breakdown in a liquid processing or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Education in Technical or engineering areas helpful
- Experience in the installation and repairs of a wide variety of pumps, meters and valves.
- Experience in the installation and repairs of motor control circuits (single and 3 phase)
- Experience in communicating with vendors, obtaining quotes for various projects, managing and maintaining repair parts inventories.
- Possess basic computer skills (MS word, excel e-mail)
- Must have an electrician’s experience.
- Working knowledge in HVAC, Air Compressor, Plumbing and Basic Carpentry
- Successful candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
