Sandstone is a leading skilled nursing facility that provides quality care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facility's equipment, grounds, and building structures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the safety and comfort of our residents.
- Manage the facility's equipment, grounds, and building structures, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of all maintenance projects.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on all maintenance activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of maintenance professionals.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations related to maintenance and safety in healthcare facilities.
