Gold Bond Building Products, LLC has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Electrician at our Eloy, AZ location. This position will report to the maintenance manager.

HOURLY RATE: $37.07

JOB TYPE: Full Time

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday / 7am - 3pm / Overtime as needed

JOB SUMMARY:

The maintenance electrician ensures equipment and facilities meet operating requirements and objectives. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical breakdowns on plant equipment, machines, and facilities as they occur. Electricians are also responsible for improving the reliability of the plant through the regular completion of preventive maintenance tasks throughout the plant.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ( not all inclusive):

· Perform preventive maintenance tasks as required

· Perform corrective maintenance tasks as required

· Replace motors, starts, breakers, disconnects, etc.

· Bend and install conduit, pull wire, and terminated as needed

· Electrical troubleshooting to find root cause of a failure

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have a minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance electrician experience

· Degree or certificate in industrial electricity / maintenance is preferred

· Experience working in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing facility is preferred

· Must have good communication and organizational skills

· Must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds

· Must be able to perform routine preventative maintenance and service

· Must be willing and able to complete written record or computerized records of work performed

· Prior experience with a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) system is a bonus but not required.

· Strong electrical and manufacturing experience is preferred

· Experience in PLC’s is a plus

· Experience in motors, controls, hydraulic and pneumatic

· Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues

· Knowledge and experience working with 480 volts and higher is a plus

· Experience with precision alignment tools and software is a plus

· Ability to read and understand technical drawings

· Ability to work as part of a team
