Southside Regional Medical Center is your community health care provider, a 300-bed facility located on a 50-acre campus with nearly 400 physicians representing more than 40 specialties. PRIMARY FUNCTION / GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Monitors, operates ,repairs and maintains all mechanical, hydraulic, hydronic, vacuum, pneumatic and electrical physical plant equipment as well as troubleshooting and performing corrective measures as necessary .

Maintains detailed documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements.

Maintenance Engineer I - Southside Regional Medical Center - Full Time, Evenings/Nights (2:30PM-11PM)

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge acquired through a high school education, plus two or more years technical training or equivalent
• Requires a minimum of [3] years working experience in the field.
• Demonstrated skills and ability to operate a variety of plant equipment, hand and power tools in a safe manner.
• A well rounded knowledge of mechanical / electrical equipment operation and repair.
• Must possess a current and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to work varied shifts and schedules to accommodate hospital needs. Ability to work alone and assume full onsite building responsibilities.
• Knowledge of direct digital and building energy management control systems.
