What we are looking for:

The Maintenance Inspector is responsible to conduct equipment inspections to assess the condition of the equipment, identify potential problem areas and identify customer strengths and weaknesses in the performance of the equipment maintenance.

What you will do:

• Perform maintenance inspections on Heidelberg equipment covered by contract or as otherwise directed by the Head of Planned Service Americas.
• Document each inspection in a professional report to include clear indication of problem areas, potential failure points, customer training needs and recommended corrective actions and customer strengths and weaknesses in regard to equipment maintenance.
• Assist with general service activities including equipment installation, field and back-office service support, and maintenance trainings.
• Perform basic customer maintenance training as necessary to correct procedural or technique deficiencies identified during the inspection.
• Identify and document customer modifications or safety concerns.
• Identify maintenance products as specified by the OEM. Document where the customer maybe using other products.

What you need:

• High School Diploma/ equivalent
• 1-3 years related experience
• Basic Computer Skills
• MS Suites Proficient
• Ability to complete travel requirements
  • Continually (67 – 100%)
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently

Location: Chicago, IL/ surrounding area

Pay Range: $22 - $34/hour

Our compensation structure is based on market, skills, and experience along with other key factors. Please note candidates will be evaluated on these factors to determine actual pay. Total compensation can be larger when factored in with benefits, bonuses, or commissions if applicable.
