We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Temecula leadership team. In this role you will oversees the Plant operations from a maintenance perspective. Responsible for management of all plant equipment, facilities and grounds. Assists and develops direct reports to achieve desired results. Direct responsibility for all department employees to ensure proper orientations, training, development, compensation and working conditions are present. The pay range for this opportunity is 102k - 128k, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Supervise Maintenance personnel
- Purchase maintenance materials and supplies
- Manage departmental budget
- Responsible for planning work time to meet all needs of the plant
- Ability to work in adverse conditions safely and ensure safety of personnel
- Actively participate on Safety Committee
- Work with Engineering to modify existing equipment for new uses
- Fabricate new equipment, install new equipment
- Assist Plant Manager with selection of equipment and plant layout
- Design and implement the preventive maintenance system
- Provide technical assistance to production department and work with production personnel to maintain and improve quality
- Reflect Milgard business values and the Milgard philosophy in all business interactions
- Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
- Supervise Maintenance personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required
- Ten (10) years of maintenance supervision required
- Four (4) year degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Demonstrable experience may be accepted in lieu of credentials
- Read, write and understand the English language
- Working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling
- Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematic
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment in all of the aforementioned areas
- Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to teach and generate results
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors
