Ahlstrom is seeking an experienced Millwright (Maintenance Mechanic) at our Nicolet Mill in De Pere, Wisconsin. In this position you will report to the Area Supervisor. We pay based on experience, starting at $25 per hour. We provide you with one year of hands-on training rotating through all areas. Your schedule will be Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm.Must be able to provide vacation coverage on varying shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays once required training and certification is complete.

As part of our Maintenance Mechanic team you will be responsible for:

· Understanding and changing spherical and tapered roller bearings, power transmission belts, roller chains, couplings, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, electric motors, gearboxes, and centrifugal pumps.

· Troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, pumping, and steam systems, overhead hoists, and cranes.

· Repairing pipefitting and welding.

· Other duties as assigned

Do you have one or more of the following?

· Journeyman Millwright card

· Associate Degree or currently enrolled in a related degree program

· Current apprentices in mechanical maintenance, millwright, pipefitter, or equivalent experience.
