Immediate opening for an experienced, reputable, and reliable Farm Facility Maintenance person at Islercrest Farms in Central Ohio. If you have experience repairing a variety of building and mechanical equipment; have a great attitude, team mentality and character, we want you for this year round full time position!

Who We Are:

Islercrest Farms is a swine and grain farm that his family owned and operated. Located in southern Marion county Ohio we are a growing company that is always looking for good people to add to our team.

A Day In the Life:
This key position is responsible for the upkeep of all our farm facilities, from replacing pulleys, fan motors, water lines, heater repair and basic welding to name a few. Additionally, this position will help maintain the overall appearances of facilities, participate in preventative maintenance of all equipment and buildings, perform minor construction and assist with other field and facility/equipment projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience with equipment, the attention to detail to maintain accurate/timely records as well follow bio-security policies when moving between different farm locations; and a willingness to learn.

Position requirements :

• Valid drivers license
• No experience required but preferred
• Ability to drive a truck, skid steer, forklift, tractor, and other machinery safely and efficiently is a plus
• Self motivated and able to work unsupervised
• Mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, physically strenuous environment with limited direct supervision
• A friendly, positive, team-oriented, and respectful mindset
• Willingness to learn and carry-out complex instructions effectively
• Record of reliability and dependability
• Candidates must not currently own or have routine contact with pigs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
