Job Description

Position Summary

We have an opening on our third shift for a Maintenance Technician in our Tipp City, Ohio (Bethel Township) manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintenance services during their shift to sustain and improve production standards. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Oversee and monitor production equipment daily.

· Respond to maintenance calls for the purpose of resolving immediate equipment or safety concerns.

· Prepare maintenance logs and handle all preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operability and a safe working environment.

· Perform a wide variety of general and skilled maintenance activities for the purpose of completing projects within an established time frame.

· Handle all equipment and lift truck repairs in a timely manner.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

· Other duties or projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Experience with manufacturing equipment and machinery preferred.

· Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lift truck issues required, experience with welding a plus.

· OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour training preferred.

· Ability to read electrical schematics preferred (NFPA 70 NEC).

· Must pass pre-employment drug screen and required background check.

Work Environment

Must be able to perform job functions which require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing, as well as frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.

Benefits

· Working hours are from 11:00pm to 7:30am, Sunday through Thursday, and must be able to work overtime as needed.
