Maintenance Technician (Hands-On)
Seeking an experienced and energetic Maintenance Technician for our Fort Edward area Manufactured Home Community. This individual works in tandem with other maintenance staff and under the supervision of the Community Manager but must work independently at times. Compensation:$19 hourly
Responsibilities:- General community maintenance
- Curb appeal
- Daily grounds clean up
- Landscaping, lawn mowing, and trimming
- Snow plowing and snow removal/cleanup, salting during cold months
- Light HVAC work
- Light electrical and plumbing work
- Light painting and carpentry work
- Be on-call for after-hours emergencies, shared with other team members
- Monthly vehicle and equipment inspections/reporting
- Equipment maintenance
- Minimum of 1-year residential property maintenance experience required
- Knowledge of proper use of power and hand tools required
- Knowledge of proper use of lawn care and landscaping equipment required
- Experience with and knowledge of snow plowing and related snow removal equipment (preferred)
- Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must have knowledge of safety procedures and consent to work safely
- Experience in structural elements, framing, dry-wall installation, flooring, and painting (preferred)
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC (helpful)
- Must have a valid driver's license with no major violations
- Must undergo a mandatory background check
