Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase productivity
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
- Work with unionized employees to ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing process
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Details

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic skills
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery, including steel manufacturing equipment
- Experience working with unionized employees
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
