Job description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and facilities.
- Perform adjustment of repair of items as required.
- Perform preventive maintenance duties that detect early signs of failure or maladjustment.
- Communicate and listen to operators, vendors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure the production readiness of machines.
- Work from machine design drawings, specifications, and handbooks.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overtime may be required during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- The shift schedule may change as needed to accomplish repairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Will be required to adhere and comply with ISO regulations, OSHA regulations, Quality Management Systems, company policies, and safety and environmental regulations.
- Verify proper documents and other safety and compliance requirements are met prior to the start of work.
- Perform routine maintenance on all machine tools, furnaces, ovens, and wax presses.
- Complete and verify critical equipment maintenance every day.
- Operate forklift and lifting devices for the movement of parts and troubleshoot forklift and lifting devices in the event of failure.
- Communicate with the supervisor and other facility employees as it relates to the job.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance functions on tools and equipment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role is required.
- Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, power, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is required.
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
- Knowledge of reading equipment drawings and specifications.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills to include, but are not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
