DIRECT HIRE opportunity!

This role will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of all manufacturing, processing machinery and facilities equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform repairs throughout plant

o Perform maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions and uptime across all related crafts

o Perform PLC maintenance issues

o Effectively utilize PM software and work order queue to perform schedule maintenance repairs.

o Participates in the planning, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, power-distribution systems, instrumentation, production equipment, robotics, facilities and related electronic controls and devices. Must be able to use hand and power tools and measurement devices.

CMMS - Prextra system

o Maintain all plant facility equipment, emergency lighting, fire protection and utilities.

o Assist with product and tooling changeovers, start up and shut-down procedures.

o Ensure availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize unnecessary machine downtime

o Effectively troubleshoot issues and efficiently make repairs

o Interpret blueprints, sketches, maintenance manuals and manufacturing specifications

o Cut, form, thread, fit and install piping for air, water, steam, oil nitrogen, gas, and other lines

o Prepare and weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with multiple technologies

o Use gas torches or other equipment to cut structural stock for fabrication

o Ensure all equipment and tools are stored and maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and to minimize unnecessary downtime.

o Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable

o Setup, initiate and maintain all robotics.

o Operate lift trucks and cranes properly and advise of any defective parts or equipment..

o Maintain constant communication with maintenance team and management. Assist team as needed.

o Coordinate with outside contractors on equipment repairs

o Provide input and ensure completion of plant projects and goals, as set forth by Management

o Support daily production goals, as they apply to maintenance/repair needs.

o Assist with manufacturing processes including equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workflow utilization.

Responsibilities (tasks, duties):

· Maintain compliance

o Abide by safe work standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), NFPA 70E (Arc flash) and all company safety practices and OSHA regulations

o Maintain clear maintenance related records

o Support plant safety initiative maintain safety protocols throughout production area.

o Participate in all departmental meetings and daily plant walks, as needed.

o Contribute to ongoing plant improvements, as needed.

o Abide by all corporate and plant company policies and initiatives.

o Work with Quality Team to assist with ISO and IATF standards and audits.

o Maintain clean work areas, practice good housekeeping and support plant-wide 5S initiative

o Adhere to the company attendance policy

o The ability to wear all required PPE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
