Maintenance Technician - Employee Housing
Job description
The Maintenance Technician is part of Aspen Skiing Company’s Employee Housing team. This position is focused on providing tenants with timely repairs inside and outside of employee housing units.
The full range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour. Pay we will based on experience and reviewed before offer.
- Preparation and maintenance of employee housing units, including moving furniture
- Performs electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and carpet installation duties
- Maintains common areas of all buildings in a presentable manner, keeping all walkways, lobbies, laundry rooms, etc. clean
- Responsible for lawn and landscape maintenance in the summer and snow and ice removal in the winter, in addition to trash removal year round
- Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Keeps commitments; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
- General upkeep of facility equipment
- Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
- Availability to attend to necessary job duties on weekends, holidays and after hours
- Other duties as assigned
Must be 18 years or older- Must have a valid, current, unrestricted Driver License
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- General maintenance skills required
- Background in building maintenance, construction or similar skilled trade is preferred

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
A physical assessment (Work Ready) is required for certain positions.
Skiing or Snowboarding is required for certain winter positions.
