We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Maintenance Technician (Mold Repair) within our Carthage, MO operation to help support our Automotive business. Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. As a Maintenance Technician (Mold Repair) ,you will be supporting production needs by ensuring the mold presses are properly maintained, mold dies are repaired in a timely manner, and the mold injection process is running correctly and at optimum speed.

So, what will you be doing as a Maintenance Technician (Mold Repair)?

• Maintain Molds by performing PMs, routine maintenance on the molds, repairing mold damage.
• Perform other duties as requested or as deemed appropriate
• Conform with the environmental policy and procedures and with the requirements of the environmental management system

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair issues with the molds.

• Must be able to do manual machining with endmill

• Knowledgeable of surface grinders and micro TIG welding

• Learn tool and die repair using welding, EDM operations, CNC operations, grinding and hand working dies.

• Must have basic math skills.

• Must possess problem solving skills, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, facilitation.

• Capability of working in a team environment

• Availabity to work either on a 4x10 nights shift (Monday to Thursday) or on a 3x12 day shift (Friday to Sunday)
