Job description
The Major Account Representative is the operational support for one of P1’s top accounts. This role supports all modes including dry van, flatbed, and expedited shipments. This role is also responsible for accurately quoting, building, and communicating updates for truckload opportunities. The ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize daily workload is key. Candidate must be able to overcome issues and resolve problems. Being customer centric for one of P1’s top strategic accounts is a must. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, develop your logistics skills and collaborate with very talented people across our organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responds timely to requests for Truckload quotes
- Ability to multi-task to quote, accurately build loads, and communicate shipment updates
- Document and track key KPI’s for shipments
Training:
Candidate will shadow the Truckload Manager for several weeks along with hands-on training with observation until candidate is confident to work individually.

Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
You should be detail-oriented, have a great work ethic and strong communication/customer service skills.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and some college preferred.
