RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California.
ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the world’s premier systems. Our work with the U.S. Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission.
Background Information:
This full-time position provides mid-level Management Analyst support to the Range Operations Division (ROD) of the Atlantic Ranges and Targets Department (ART) in Patuxent River, Maryland.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Applies knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program or project managers and customers
- Draws conclusions and devises solutions to problems relating to improvement of management effectiveness, organizational structures, work methods, procedural efficiencies, and resource requirements, utilization, and control
- Develops, drafts, and documents program or project milestones, progress monitoring, financial, acquisition, quality control, maintenance, or training materials
- Performs work measurement studies, program or project operations efficiency reviews, cost studies, or workload change impact analyses
- Relies upon and uses automated management information systems in performing fact-finding, analytical, and advisory functions
- Works closely with journeyman and senior management analyst on routine assignments and receives detailed instruction and guidance on more complex assignments
- Work products are reviewed for quality, accuracy, and completeness

Required Education, Experience, & Certifications:
- BS/BA Degree in a business or management discipline, such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or management information technology from an accredited college or university is required
- A minimum of three (3) years of work experience performing the above-stated or similar duties is required
- In lieu of a BS degree, a High School diploma or equivalent GED and nine (9) years’ work experience performing the stated function or an Associate’s Degree, plus seven (7) years’ work experience performing the stated or similar function
- Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills requiring Pivot Table analyses
- Must have proficient skills with Microsoft MS Office Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- An understanding of Government contracts, modifications, and CLIN and SLIN financial structures is preferred
Clearance Requirement:
- Must maintain or be able to obtain an United States Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance (which requires United States citizenship)
Work Conditions:
- Most work performed in enclosed buildings. Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching.
- Applicant should be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs. assisted by other employees.
- Vision abilities needed to perform this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
- Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license
- Some travel and occasional overtime may be required
