The Manager, Clinical Business Development (Physician Liaison) reports to the Director, Clinical Business Development and coordinates operational improvement with the Augusta Medical Group and the nursing division in order to build physician relationships to grow service utilization at Augusta Health and drive a positive patient experience. The Liaison will actively engage with physicians, providers, and other healthcare entities in order to assure that the provider community is aware of the clinical services and processes which enable Augusta Health to provide quality care. The Liaison communicates with physicians on Augusta Health’s comprehensive services and serves as a resource to physicians in streamlining the patient experience within the hospital. The position bridges relationships between non-AMG Physicians, AMG Physicians the hospital, community services, and employers. The Liaison has access to and utilizes non-HIPAA market data, utilization data, and industry trends to help focus relationship building with physicians. Represents the organization, hospital, and clinics in communicating and connecting with other healthcare providers in the community.

Given, Augusta Health’s prioritization of outpatient care services, The Liaison will provide feedback to Outpatient Pavilion operators with requests and ideas for improving services which promote the delivery of care and supports the mission, vision, and values of Augusta Health. The Liaison ensures customers are aware of the Outpatient Pavilion services, and how to access services. The Physician Liaison facilitates communication and service resolution between the Surgical Center, Imaging Center, and Breast Care Services to optimize the satisfaction and care experience for patients.

Education

Bachelor's degree in sales, consumer service, marketing, healthcare administration, or related healthcare field required.

Experience

3 years’ experience in healthcare sales or healthcare leadership preferred.

• Strong computer skills required.
• Highly motivated, problem-solving skills, organized, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, public speaking, and organizational skills required.
• Experience in adhering to Corporate Ethics and Compliance standard, Stark and Anti-Kickback laws and regulation, non-compete/non-solicitation.
• General medical knowledge, especially related to Surgical Services, treatment offerings, and equipment required.
