Position Overview:
The Operations Analysis Manager will be primarily responsible for assisting with the analysis, modeling, and reporting of financial and operational data associated with strategic initiatives, capital projects and investments, and day to day operational activities.
Essential Functions
Provides analytical leadership and decision modeling support to the evaluation of operational initiatives, distribution and logistics approaches, sales performance and results, and synergy potential with acquired companies
Provides and delivers strategic data analysis, insights and presentations to senior leadership and functional teams to better drive operational and financial performance
Supports analyses around costing and pricing strategies
Apply critical thought and analytical rigor to business problems and solution development
Develops, maintains and delivers KPI reporting to key stakeholder groups
Knowledge and Skills
Operational and process-oriented mindset, including the ability to not only gather data, but also present findings
Confident working under own initiative being a strong team player
Ability to work independently and have high integrity and experience working on confidential / sensitive matters
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel (high/expert skill level preferred), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to program (e.g. PowerBI / SQL) and work with large data sets strongly preferred.
Education and Experience
3-5 years of work experience in corporate & business development, business development, corporate strategic planning, investment banking, management consulting, finance or related fields
Excellent problem-solving; Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
