Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for a Manager, Identity & Access Management - Remote. The Manager of Identity and Access Management will be responsible for the development, implementation, operation, and lifecycle management of Lifepoint Health’s Identity and Access Management tools and resources. The position will require providing technical and managerial support during incidents or outages. The Manager of Identity and Access Management position will require engagement with both technical and non-technical departments to provide Identity and Access Management project and operational support and facilitate communication with impacted stakeholders. The Manager of Identity and Access Management will be responsible for day-to-day management of direct reports to include ticket queue management, project management daily operations management, and other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations, incidents, and project driven tasks of the Identity and Access Management Operations team, including ensuring routine Identity related events/incidents are investigated and triaged by the Identity Management Team.
  • Lead incident response for elevated incidents, including being a primary escalation point and coordinating analysis, validation, tracking, and reporting through senior leadership during elevated engagements.
  • Provide project management leadership related to enterprise identity management initiatives.
  • Manage critical relationships with key stakeholders and vendors, drive process improvements for the Information Security program specific to Identity & Access Management and review potential security exposures.
  • Work closely with application and engineering teams to ensure technical design, implementation, and testing efforts involving key product, service, and application launches incorporate security requirements and best practices throughout all phases of the build process.
  • Research new tools and technologies to continually update or improve identity management automation processes, lifecycle, governance of identities.
  • Monitor and analyze monitoring toolset alerts to identify issues for remediation and investigate events and incidents. Identify issues and potential enhancements to security solutions and work with vendor and operational partners to correct issues and implement enhancements.
  • Exercise usual authority as a supervisor concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.
  • Provide business leadership support in areas of procurements, budget recommendations, and forecasting for the relevant technologies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise the work of others, including planning, assigning, and scheduling work, reviewing work, and ensuring quality standards, training staff, and overseeing productivity. Responsible for hiring, termination and pay adjustments within the department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Education: University (Degree) Preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience: 3 or more years of information technology experience; minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required; project management experience a plus. Experience with at least one of the following identity management platforms; Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Certifications: Both general and technical security and related network certifications desired.

Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air
