Job description
The Manager II (General) of CIPL will is accountable for improving student achievement for all students with special attention on improving student achievement on English Learners, Special Education students, foster and homeless youth; develop and lead a service-oriented department to support schools, school site leaders, and instructional staff: collaborate with district leaders to develop and integrate comprehensive and effective educational programs and services to provide students access to high quality learning options to stay in school on target to graduate; work collaboratively with departments with District Goals in support of student achievement including:
- Support all Libraries, library media technicians, site librarians and leaders to develop and maintain strong library structures.
- Provide Professional Development for all library staff, leaders and teachers on the use of Sora, Destiny and other tools.
- Support Library PLCs.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies of a variety of projects.
- Instrumental in supporting Literacy PK-12.
