Overview:
The Manager, Real Estate Business Operations works under general direction of the Director Real Estate Operations, responsible for managing operations and administrative support for real estate and associated business departments. Manages and oversees operational procedures, process improvement, and other functions enabling the real estate department to meet objectives in an effective and efficient manner. The Manager collaborates with various departments across the Medxcel platform and gain exposure to senior Company executives.
This position will be located at Central Office- Indianapolis, IN.

- Partner with Director, Real Estate Operations to support development of policies and procedures for onboarding/offboarding new Real Estate team members, best practices, and technology user guides.
- Develop processes and standards to streamline overall business operations.
- Edit and maintain processes within the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
- Track and report on real estate business metrics and strategic management of project resources.
- Produce routine and ad hoc real estate financial reports, packages and proforma analyses for management and business units.
- Collect, aggregate, input, and export real estate data into various database.
- Support deployments, migrations, and implementation of new technology systems.
- Assist in maintaining accurate data in the system of record.
- Manage onboarding, updating, and verifying client portfolios.
- Oversee submission of reports/request deadlines, and coordinate work with other departments.
- Collaborate with management team(s) across the business to identify, develop and implement actions for improvement and practical solutions as approved by management.
- Help organize team processes and large work volume.
- Assist with preparation of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits.
- Assist in collection of due diligence materials for real estate transactions including leases, financial statements and other documents related to the operation of commercial real estate assets.
- Manage day to day operational aspects of ad hoc real estate projects to include leading processes, tracking task completion, coordinating project team meetings, identifying project/task risk assessment, and ensuring completion of project within the defined deadlines and scope of work.
- Maintain and organize documents in department Teams channels and SharePoint Sites in accordance with department protocols.
- Draft and send out communications as needed.
- Develop relationships with both the operations and asset management teams, as well as internal support personnel, to help facilitate a streamlined, efficient operations function.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Experience:
- At least 3 years in business operations, finance, or business analytics in the commercial or corporate real estate or related industry required
- Previous Team Lead or Supervisor related experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Problem solving — identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyses information skillfully
- Planning/organizing —prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans
- Ability to Adapt –adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization, on the topics of technology, tools, and processes
- Ability to deal effectively with diverse roles, backgrounds, and expectations
- Project management skills including coordination, communication and adherence to budget and completion goals, prioritization, and troubleshooting
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
