Job description
We are currently seeking a Manpower Specialist to join our team. As a Manpower Specialist, you will be responsible for processing new hire employees through our online platform, scheduling drug testing and background screening through DISA, scheduling safety classes through Area Reciprocal Safety Council's, and ensuring that each employee is 100% government, company, and site compliant to go on site to work in the industrial facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Process new hire employees through our online platform, ensuring all required documents and information are accurately collected and entered
- Schedule drug testing and background screening through DISA, following all relevant policies and procedures
- Coordinate and schedule safety classes through Area Reciprocal Safety Council's, ensuring all employees receive necessary training before going on site
- Ensure that each employee is fully compliant with all government, company, and site requirements, including certifications, training, and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of employee compliance and update relevant databases and systems
- Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance processes
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry requirements related to manpower and compliance, and implement necessary changes to our processes as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, vendors, and other stakeholders, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial environment
- Strong understanding of government, company, and site compliance requirements, including drug testing, background screening, and safety training
- Familiarity with online platforms and systems for processing new hire employees and maintaining compliance records
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
