We are located in Southern Franklin County, just 20 minutes north of Burlington, and close to Lake Champlain, nearby ski areas and hiking trails, river and lake kayaking and other outdoor activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assembling electrical assemblies, working from detailed, written procedures
• Following established working procedures and policies exactly and consistently
• Maintaining attention to detail with focus
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities
• Properly documenting work performed using notes and shop order time wanding

Requirements:

• Experience following documented assembly procedures and acceptance test procedures
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Familiarity with hand tools, gauges and fixtures such as torque screwdrivers & wrenches, solder tools, calipers, go/no-go fixtures and jigs
• High manual dexterity; ability to perform work under magnification
• Experience with soldering a plus; ability to learn precision soldering essential
• Machine tool experience is a plus
• Must be a US citizen

Education & Experience:

• Minimum: High school diploma/equivalent and/or two years or more experience in a technical production assembly environment. Visual acuity to 20/20 (corrected or uncorrected).
• Preferred: Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and soldering; certification in J-STD-001 soldering skills and techniques.
