Job description
We are seeking 2 Positions a Senior Engineer and a less experienced Engineer.
The Manufacturing Design Engineer is focused on design, development, evaluation, and documentation of client orders of parts, products and/or operating manufacturing systems. They are responsible for keeping the production costs down, while maintaining the quality of the product or service unaffected and have extensive knowledge and insights into projects. This position will work on projects for multiple entities at AAMI. Rarely do Engineers get to see all sides of the process early on in their career – this opportunity is available at Abrams Airborne Manufacturing Inc and its entities.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, experienced and able to work independently. This role will be working in a lot of different areas – beyond a typical manufacturing, design, or mechanical engineer – wear every hat from designer, prototyping, testing, drafting of all the drawings, communicating design with the customer and project manager – really being a part of the “cradle to grave” of a project.
