Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team as a contractor.
In this role, you will provide technical support for the production team, including documentation and floor support for safety, manufacturing, and quality methods, tooling, and equipment. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new processes and methods to improve safety, reduce product costs, and enhance product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve manufacturing issues to improve product quality and reduce scrap
- Monitor and improve productivity using advanced technology and Brilliant Factory solutions
- Ensure regulatory compliance through validation and verification
- Develop new process and workstation designs to support lean manufacturing
- Troubleshoot production processes and equipment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical degree from an accredited university or college; or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in manufacturing
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document, plan, and execute projects
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practices
- Previous project experience and greenbelt certification preferred
- Change agent with strong credibility and influence
