Job description

Windsor Windows and Doors, a leading national manufacturer of window products, seeks a team oriented individual to lead and execute industrial and quality engineering projects, which consist of methods and root cause analysis, evaluating machinery, material handling and equipment usage, and determining more effective and efficient production processes. Candidate will drive and support waste elimination projects, revise plant layout drawings, maintain labor standards, prepare capital justification, and other traditional Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities.

Qualifications requirements:

• Effective communication
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor and MS Office is required
• Lean experience and Six Sigma Certification a plus
• Candidate must have a good working knowledge of machinery, methods and process capability along with the knowledge of lean thinking, including cellular manufacturing, Value Stream Management, Kanban Systems, 5-S, and Lean Six Sigma
• 3+ years of engineer experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
