An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer – Turbines to join the Rolls Royce team in Bristol.
In this role, you will deliver Manufacturing Engineering activities in support of a business capability acquisition, continuous improvement and new product introduction. Use the methods described in corporate process landscapes to programme manage and execute tasks. Ensure manufacturing processes capable of meeting and continuing to meet quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time requirements are delivered on time to the business.

What you will be doing:
You will develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time.
- Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time
- Create, maintain and/or govern elements of the Technical Package (technical instructions, programmes, tooling, etc.) which clearly define the manufacturing process and control it effectively
- Capture and analyse data to demonstrate the current and future capability of manufacturing processes
- Identify opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes to meet current or future requirements
Who we’re looking for :
You will ensure manufacturing processes capable of meeting and continuing to meet quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time requirements are delivered on time to the business.
- Have a base knowledge of current manufacturing processes for aerospace components, advanced technology, inspection practices and the aptitude to learn rapidly.
- Be an energetic, enthusiastic, team oriented individual with a passion to succeed and a vision of how modern manufacturing should be achieved.
- A Basic Six Sigma understanding and root cause analysis skills.
- Professionally qualified Engineer (UK minimum HND/foundation degree or other national equivalent)
