As a Manufacturing Facility Maintenance Specialist, you will:
- Inspects facilities, prioritizes necessary repairs, improvements and preventive maintenance; follows all safety rules and regulations to minimize risk and enhance the safety of employees and visitors; checks property and grounds for unsafe conditions or hazards
- Trouble-shoots and perform diagnostics for repair of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems in a large production facility
- Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled facilities maintenance, preventive maintenance, component replacement and repair tasks, including carpentry, mechanical, security systems and basic non-licensed electrical, plumbing; operates hand and power tools
- Works on assigned projects, and makes appropriate decisions based on work experience; duties will vary according to job assignment and individual skills; notifies supervisors of repair problems beyond the scope of authority.
- Reads and interprets project work orders; identifies material and equipment needs, and organizes supplies and equipment; prepares written reports as required and documents the work performed.
- Utilizes proper safety precautions in all work performed; reports problems and emergency situations.
This is a Full-Time opportunity. Overtime is available as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Journeyman's electrician license is a huge plus!
- Ability to perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or carpentry related tasks in an industrial production facility
- Effective communicator
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and draw and interpret graphs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Has awareness of technologies/ techniques. Demonstrates basic functional and/or process knowledge and participates in process. Requires basic competency related to function. Demonstrates technical skills
Shift Time: 7 PM - 4 AM (may change to 2nd shift), Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $30-32 per hour
- Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
