Your Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing/Quality Engineering Team Lead, for the articulated dump truck (ADT) assembly line at Davenport Works in Davenport, Iowa, you will lead the manufacturing/quality strategy and engineering team to deliver best in class ADTs to our customers. In addition, you will…
Manage resources, both direct and indirect, to complete timely implementation of improvement projects (including CI)- Lead and develop a team of manufacturing and quality engineers. Support projects and resources with ETEC (Enterprise Technology Engineering Center)
- Engage in the ADT leadership team focused on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency
- Lead the product line quality strategy, metric improvements and glidepath to achieve distinctive product quality goals
- Plan and manage capital projects that include process and factory master plan improvements

What Skills You Need
Demonstrated experience with manufacturing systems such as assembly, quality, fabrication, and/or manufacturing tools- Experience planning, coordinating, and implementing complex projects
- 2 or more years of people leadership experience in an operations or factory support role
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing salaried/professional employees- Experience implementing automation/technology solutions in manufacturing operations
- Experience in use of quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), control plan, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Experience with Agile/Scrum process
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Technology, or similar discipline or equivalent related work experience
